WHAT PERSONAL INFORMATION DOES MAKO COLLECT AND HOW DO WE USE IT?
When you use our Services, we may ask you to provide some personal information, for example, your name, address, phone number, email address, and/or certain additional categories of information resulting from use of our websites and Services. We keep this information in a contact database for future reference, as needed. Social Media Interactions and User Generated Content
Mako invites you to socialize and share your purchases with others using Social Media tools such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Google+, YouTube, etc. If you choose to use these tools, you may be sharing certain profile elements, including your comments. This sharing is subject to each social media program’s privacy policies. We offer links on our site to “Share” or “Like” our site or products for many of the popular social sites. To remove a “Share” or “Like” or to delete your comments you will have to make those changes directly on that specific social site.
We may permit users to share their own content (“User Generated Content”) on our site. This User Generated Content may include but is not limited to video, audio, photographs, images, illustrations, animations, logos, written posts, replies, comments, information, data, text, and graphics. You acknowledge that you have no expectation of privacy as to any User Generated Content on our site.
Third Party Services
The Services are not structured nor intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect, use or disclose personal information from persons under the age of 18, or equivalent minimum age in the relevant jurisdiction, without verifiable parental consent. If we learn that we have collected the personal information of a child under 18, or equivalent minimum age depending on jurisdiction, without first receiving verifiable parental consent we will take steps to delete the information as soon as possible.

However, please note that we cannot guarantee that unauthorized persons will always be unable to defeat our security measures.

We also recommend that you sign out of your account or service at the end of each session. You may also wish to close your browser window when you have finished your work, especially if you share a computer with someone else or if you are using a computer in a public place like a library or Internet cafe.
HOW MAY I CORRECT, AMEND, OR DELETE MY PERSONAL INFORMATION AND/OR UPDATE MY PREFERENCES?
You may cancel your account or update your preferences at any time. If you don’t want to receive information about our products or services, please update your account preferences (where available), check the appropriate box when registering, and/or utilize the “unsubscribe” mechanism within the communications that you receive from us.
Deletion of User-Generated Content
On termination of your account, or upon your deletion of particular pieces of User-Generated Content from the Services, Mako shall make reasonable efforts to make such User-Generated Content inaccessible and cease use of it; however, you acknowledge and agree that: (a) removed User-Generated Content may persist in caches or backups for a reasonable period of time and (b) copies of or references to the User-Generated Content may not be entirely removed (due to the nature of reblogging or reposting, for example).
If you are a California resident and have an established business relationship with us, you can request a notice disclosing the categories of personal information we have shared with third parties, for the third parties’ direct marketing purposes, during the preceding calendar year.
